Moving here in late July to work back in geological oil and gas exploration with Thomasson Partner Associates, Inc. I am finding that Colorado suits me well. As my daughter Nicole wrote 2 years ago when she visited "Dad, Colorado is very you! I can see you living here. The weather is wonderful, the mountains are beautiful, and the people are nice". I think I already knew that - having visited several times to visit friends, attend meetings, hiked and skied and climbed a couple fourteeners to boot (Mt. Bierdstadt and Mt. of the Holy Cross). I reflect back and wonder what took me so long. The West and the mountains suit me - so does the sea - but - it's hard to have it all and be near enough to family too (i.e. I love the Pacific Northwest too).
